Album: Andrew, First Month
Andrew was born at 12:47am, 04/25/2005, and was six weeks premature. He was 3 pounds 15 ounces, and 17 inches long. This album holds pictures of the birth, and the days after in the NICU. Andrew came home about 8:30pm on 05/11/2005.

Album: Andrew, Second Month
Andrew started his second month of life at almost 6 pounds, a big increase from the 3 lbs. 15 oz. he weighed at birth. Though still small and a little fragile, he is much more alert ... and eating every 2.5-3.5 hours.

Album: Andrew, Third Month
Andrew started his third month at almost 10 pounds, and more alert than ever. He stays awake many more hours per day, particularly during daylight hours. We have switched him to strictly formula, and to Similac Lactose Free Advance that he seems to do better with than Enfamil...but he still eats every 2.5-3.5 hours!

Album: Andrew, Fourth Month
In his fourth month Andrew started trying to lift and hold his head up. He is mimicing certain words. He can "repeat after me" his name, the word hello, and "I love you" remarkably well. He says "hello" best for mom, "I love you" best for Dad, and his name for almost anyone.

Album: Andrew, Fifth Month
The most noticable recent change is Andrew's level of activity, which is way up, and the related slowing in weight gain. He can now rollover from stomach to back, will master the other way very soon, and can hold his head up for very long periods of time.

Album: Andrew, Sixth Month
This month Andrew continued to slow his weight gain, and his activity continues to increase. He sleeps less during the day, and his interests have changed quite a bit -- things that were new last month, like rolling over, interest him far less now. He is much more interested in trying to grasp and control the movement of small objects with his hands, and experimenting with his voice (sqeels and baby babble at different pitches and volumes).
